Regulatory Counsel Brazil

Overview

Mastercard Brazil is seeking a Counsel, Regulatory to support product launches, rule changes, participant matters, and regulatory authorizations in light of the increased complexity introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil under a new regulatory framework. This role will provide end-to-end regulatory support across business and operational initiatives, while helping manage Mastercard’s engagement with the Central Bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Support regulatory assessments and authorization processes for new products, business models, rule changes, and operational initiatives
• Execute formal approval processes, including legal analysis, impact assessment coordination, documentation, and timeline management
• Review products and business models to ensure compliance is addressed from inception
• Provide end-to-end regulatory support across product and operational initiatives
