We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our medical oncology team at Dartmouth Cancer Center-St. Johnsbury (Vermont). This person must have an unwavering commitment to professionalism, nursing excellence, and teamwork. This position requires empathy, critical thinking, flexibility and the desire to thrive in an ever-changing nursing specialty. Oncology experience is preferred but we will train the right person.
In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients with cancer, helping them navigate the physical and emotional complexities of diagnosis, treatment, symptom management, infection prevention and recovery.Primary responsibilities of this position include working in our patient access room and our infusion room and include the following:
