Position Summary

A registered nurse in the Neurovascular Unit (NVU) at Toronto Western Hospital provides compassionate, collaborative, and competent care for patients with brain and spine conditions, in line with UHN’s Professional Practice Model and the mission and vision of nursing at UHN.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing science, theory, skills, and critical decision‑making in the provision of care.
• Ensure practice is consistent with professional standards and the ethical framework of the College of Nurses of Ontario and UHN policy.
• Participate in continuing education, reflective practice, and quality improvement to enhance nursing and patient care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and perform cross‑functional duties as assigned.
