Quality System Specialist

Location: North Bay, ON

Salary: 68,000 – 75,000 CAD

About the Position: The Quality Systems Specialist is a senior role responsible for advancing the Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting the Environmental Management System (EMS). This position drives high‑level continuous improvement initiatives, leads audit programs, oversees risk and compliance activities, and provides expert guidance to departments. The Specialist ensures alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and corporate objectives while mentoring less senior quality staff and supporting cross‑functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support managers and supervisors in developing and monitoring QMS objectives, KPIs, and continual improvement activities.
• Support environmental management system improvements as required.
• Plan, manage, and facilitate internal and external audit schedules and drive resolution of audit findings.
