Quality Inspector

In this role you will be responsible for inspecting and validating component parts and completed products for conformance to quality standards defined in drawings, bills of materials, check sheets, and specifications, as well as alignment to customer requirements and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspection as required.
• Perform in‑process and final inspection tasks on all switches and part orders being shipped.
• Perform internal process/quality system audits as required and report all findings.
• Have authority to “shut down” non‑conforming processes after notifying Supervisor, Quality Manager, and Director of Operations.
• Apply sound judgement in making quality‑related decisions and problem solving.
• Communicate regularly and work cooperatively with subordinates, management, suppliers, and other employees.
