The Quality Engineer (Pressure Vessels) oversees quality activities at fabrication sites in the Oil and Gas sector and may manage a small team of third‑party inspectors.
Responsibilities
Coordinate quality inspection and testing activities.
Plan, schedule, assign, and monitor work for Quality Inspectors.
Raise and follow up resolution of Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Expedite fabricator activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards and Project Specifications.
Coordinate Mechanical Completion (MC) and Closing of Inspection Test Reports (ITR) on time.
Review and approve supplier quality documents such as ITPs, fabrication and NDT procedures, NDT reports, etc.
Oversee compilation and review Manufacturing Record Books (MRB) by suppliers.
