The Project Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and successfully delivering project opportunities in the renewable energy sector in order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives. The position reports to the Senior Director, Project Development.
In this role, the incumbent will lead and manage all stages of business opportunity development for projects valued at up to $1 billion. Responsibilities include leading prospecting efforts; analyzing and selecting renewable energy projects; managing a multidisciplinary project team of several dozen professionals; analyzing requests for proposals (RFPs); preparing and presenting business plans; structuring, negotiating, and closing multi‑million‑dollar agreements required to advance business opportunities. The Project Development Manager will also represent projects with partners and key stakeholders.
