Oversees and organizes all operational activities during normal production for the responsible area.
Leads all team members to implement production safely, efficiently, and accurately based on safety regulations, standard operating procedures, checklists, quality standards, production plans, and related documents.
Assists with the implementation of lean methodology and health, safety & environment practices.
Coordinates maintenance issues with the maintenance department and oversees safety during maintenance when necessary.
Works with other personnel to complete equipment isolation, flushing, replacement, inspection, commissioning, and related activities.
Communicates with team members on all issues.
Provides performance evaluation input to the supervisor.
