Procurement, the Intermediate Category Specialist will bring established skills in strategic procurement as it relates to strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations and contract drafting/development.
The category portfolios supported are IT, Contingent Workforce and Travel
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal category teams and business partners and gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements establishing short-term and long-term objectives.
- Lead the efforts for contract renewals and strategic sourcing activities (scoping, spend analysis, sourcing, negotiating, contracting).
- Lead the RFx process, and support the development of negotiation strategies and negotiations of small to medium value/risk agreements.
- Conduct market data research, investigate supplier capabilities, and analyze industry best practices and technology trends to inform sourcing strategies.
