**Introduction**
In this procurement consulting role, the Procurement Professional will support the development, execution, and ongoing management of category/sourcing strategies for IBM’s Procurement BPO clients. Above and beyond strategic sourcing activities, the Procurement Professional should learn the internal landscape of our client (requirements, organizational structure, priorities) and develop relationships to successfully deliver improved cost, reduced risk, and more efficient programs.
**Your role and responsibilities**
* Supporting and managing competitive bid events for client(s) (i.e., Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, Request for Information, Reverse Auctions, etc.) within assigned spend categories
* Managing tactical buying request queue with requests ranging from $50k-$500k from multiple client stakeholders, achieving savings targets and maintaining high client satisfaction
