The Principal Investigator (PI) provides technical and regulatory leadership for Cultural Resource Management (CRM) projects from initiation to completion. They oversee project design, permitting, staffing, fieldwork, data collection, reporting, and compliance with Tribal, state, and federal standards. The PI serves as a mentor to technical staff, ensuring deliverables are accurate, high-quality, and client-ready while guiding stakeholders through complex regulatory processes. This role combines project management, regulatory expertise, and in-field leadership with administrative oversight, client communication, and staff mentorship.
