Introduction

The EU Horizon Europe-funded project SYNCHRONY will establish a coordinated, internationally synchronized observatory across the Southern Ocean and Antarctic continental shelves to monitor rapid changes in the ocean–ice–atmosphere system and their impacts on climate and biodiversity.
