Responsibilities
Inspection of dock prior to berthing. Ensure safe cargo transfer between terminal and vessel is carried out safely by clear communications and regular inspections onboard. Ensure all risks are addressed and mitigated. Ensure all safety regulations such as ISGOTT, OCIMF, etc. are followed.
Qualifications
Hold a Masters License - Unlimited Tonnage, and shall have served within no more than 10 years prior to being first appointed to act hereunder, or is currently accredited under the SIRE or CDI programs, or holds auditor status with the TMSA program, or has been a marine surveyor with government authorities or a surveyor with a classification society or actively engaged in a marine cons...
