Under supervision of the Operations Manager (Wastewater Treatment), this position performs a variety of duties relating to wastewater treatment plant operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitors the Wastewater Treatment Plant and sewage pumping stations operation, alarm systems, plant security systems and telephones by utilizing the System Control and Data Acquisition (SCDA) systems. Makes process adjustments and modifications to maintain consistency within established operating standards and records unusual conditions in the daily log book.
Observes and inspects instrument readouts and plant equipment. Makes adjustments and modifications within established operating standards. Makes minor repairs, as required. Completes, distributes and files Maintenance Report Sheets regarding failed equipment.
Reviews and compiles manually generated reports and SCDA system reports.
