Job Responsibilities

• This position has the authority to create and approve purchases on behalf of the Bard organization as described under S24PU-001.
• Manage the availability of all component parts and raw materials necessary for successful completion of ship schedules.
• Establish, monitor, and report on inventory levels for assigned components.
• Communicate all production / component support problems to production and materials manager. Assist to identify and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor blanket orders by expediting and de-expediting components to achieve scheduling and inventory goals.
• Assist Master Scheduling with Manufacturing order/system maintenance.
• Assist purchasing/ shop floor with identifying programs, i.e., JIT, Kan ban, etc., and training suppliers to these programs.
