Detailed Overview

Reporting administratively to the Manager, Health Services, and clinically to the Chief Physiotherapist, this position assesses, plans, implements, and monitors physiotherapy treatment to patients/residents. Delegates components of treatment to Assistants/Aides. As part of the interdisciplinary team, acts as a resource on issues relating to areas of physiotherapy expertise. Participates in development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical physiotherapy practice, including philosophy, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, continuous quality improvement and risk management of the physiotherapy services. This position is a multi-site position, providing services to both MSA and MMH hospitals.
