Participate in the clinical, educational and research activities of the Pain and Symptom Management/Palliative Care (PSMPC) team.
Address the palliative care needs of ambulant cancer patients, integrated with oncological management, including survivorship context.
Facilitate a coordinated approach and ensure continuity of palliative care support through effective communication and transfers back to community‑level physicians and home care/palliative care services.
Provide consultation and education to other BC Cancer care teams and community‑based care providers as required.
Support and engage in research and education interests in palliative and supportive care.
Enhance awareness and provide public and provider education on palliative care and symptom management for oncology patients.
