**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be an integral member of the Surgical and Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit (SAICU) critical care team, working closely with attending physicians, residents, and the current physician assistant to provide high-quality care to critically ill surgical patients.
