Summary About the Position: This position is located at Sobe, Okinawa, Japan with the Department of War Education Activity Security Management Division's Personnel Security Branch, Federal employees in Okinawa, Japan are not currently entitled to receive a Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary; however, this amount is subject to change at any time. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). Responsibilities Responsible for assessing, evaluating, and reviewing background investigation documentation and information for DODEA workforce to determine reciprocity, interim eligibility, acceptable risk and Line of Sight Supervision (LOSS).
