Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is dedicated to providing culturally inclusive senior care. This role supports seniors in daily activities and personal hygiene while following a resident‑centred approach.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care to assist clients with daily activities and personal hygiene.
Support the clients' physical, social and emotional needs in a safe manner.
Follow relevant government standards and residents' rights.
Work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and problem‑solving.
Apply behavioural management training (Gentle Persuasive Approach, U‑First, CPI).
Utilise computer systems such as Point Click Care and MS Office; basic knowledge of Workday is an asset.
Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario or equivalent.
Experience in a long‑term care setting is an asset.
