Your role
Manage and maintain the PTW system for all track and system‑related construction activities.
Review and obtain approval on permit applications, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project and regulatory safety requirements.
Verify that high‑risk activities (electrical, confined space, hot work, energized systems, lifting, track access, etc.) have valid permits before work starts.
Coordinate permit scheduling with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Maintain an updated log of all active, suspended, and closed permits.
Ensure PTW processes comply with WorkSafeBC, Transport Canada, and project‑specific safety standards.
