In accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of practice and Fraser Health’s mission and values, the Pediatric Psychiatric Liaison Nurse provides intake assessment, crisis intervention, and contributes to the care of psychiatric and concurrent disordered pediatric patients in the Emergency Department and related facilities. The role involves coordinating patient flow, collaborating with the interprofessional team, planning care, and managing discharge and community transition.
