What you’ll do
Perform, produce, and provide preliminary reports on pediatric echocardiograms at BC Children’s Hospital, BC Women’s Hospital and/or at Cardiology Partnership Clinics; recognize situations where further investigation or testing may be required.
Enter relevant numerical data and technical comments into digital archiving system for further interpretation and reporting by a pediatric cardiologist (ie. determine and record anatomical and physiological findings and measures, calculate and record numerical data from the various modalities used to produce the pediatric echocardiogram).
Provide instruction, teaching and training in pediatric echocardiography to staff, students and physicians. Give in-service presentations and acts as a resource person on pediatric echocardiography.
