Our client, located in Markham, is an exciting & dynamic utilities company and looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to a Manager, People Operations the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to:
Process payroll for salaried employees on a bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis. Employees are based in both Canada and the United States of America.
Process payroll for hourly employees based on time cards
Process journal entries for corresponding pay periods
Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly audits
Ensure all transactions of payroll, pension, and benefits are accurate entered
