Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for unionized and non-unionized staff across multiple legal entities, covering both weekly and bi-weekly pay cycles
Compute and validate regular earnings and special payments, including overtime, shift premiums, incentives, retro pay, vacation accruals, and statutory holiday entitlements
Implement payroll updates tied to hires, terminations, leaves, role changes, and other employee status changes
Balance payroll outputs by reconciling payroll summaries to general ledger accounts
Generate and file required payroll documentation and reports, including ROEs, T4s, T4As, and internal payroll analyses
Prepare and post monthly payroll-related journal entries
