About This Opportunity

SUMMARY

BGIS at Parc Downsview Park is hiring Park Landscaper from Spring 2026 to Spring 2027. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a passion for working outdoors, an ability to work in a team environment, and a strong interest in the development and maintenance of green spaces.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Horticulture

  • Maintain and install ornamental gardens and seasonal planters, which include watering, weeding, deadheading, and pruning.
  • Assist natural areas restoration projects and perennial garden and shrub bed maintenance.
  • Hardscape maintenance including interlock repair and adjustments, sign installation and the like.
  • Park sanitation, including litter and waste collection.
  • Provide staff support for outdoor events and stewardship activities.
  • Additional tasks in other areas of park operations like turf care, urban arboriculture & forestry, park infrastructure and irrigation maintenance.
