The Packaging Machine Operator (PMO) is primarily responsible for packing raw baby leaf lettuce with some time spent troubleshooting issues, maintaining line efficiency, minimizing downtime, effective changeovers between products, and assisting with staff training and assignment. The PMO works hands-on, supporting the Line Lead and Production Labourers in the safe and efficient operation of the packaging of raw baby leaf lettuce and the operation of the box line and its connectivity to the packaging line.

Morning: 06:00 am to 12:30pm

Afternoon: 12:00 pm to 08:30 pm

Wage: $19.48/hour

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the initial washing, sorting and packing of raw baby leaf lettuce
• Production line setup, visual inspection of equipment, production start-up, product changeovers, record keeping, IPCs
• Verification of labels, weights then metal detector within 2 (two) minutes of product run
