The Ontario Telemedicine Network (O.T.N.) and Psychiatry Clinic R.P.N. is responsible for assessment and liaison with medical specialists and community psychiatrist providing consultation services to individuals in the community through the O.T.N. and other virtual platforms. The R.P.N. works closely with the O.T.N. Telemedicine Coordinator and clinic psychiatrists to increase capacity, organize and schedule appointments, establish O.T.N. and virtual psychiatry clinics, assist with equipment set up, and provide consultation with patients who are meeting with the specialists. The R.P.N. is responsible for nursing assessments as directed and required by the physician during the consultation and provides patients with information as follow up to their appointments, as appropriate and required.
