Our client, a printing and labeling facility, is seeking an operations manager.
Organize, direct, and control all aspects of daily production, ensuring optimal use of printing equipment and machinery to meet deadlines and high-quality standards;
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, (ex. Lean, 5S, Kaizen), to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize productivity;
Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs such as yield, waste, downtime, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness);
Directly supervise production heads and staff, participating in hiring, training, performance evaluation, and talent development;
Implement and enforce robust quality control procedures and health and safety regulations. Lead timely follow-up on workplace incidents and drive safety best practices;
Work cross-functionally with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.
