Exercise management over employee and labour issues within a confidential capacity.
Oversee and participate in the recruitment and selection process for new paramedic staff.
Actively develop and coach staff – encourage and support developmental initiatives by paramedics in collaboration with the human resources department and other related committees.

Encourage semi‑autonomous work groups and actively lead or participate in various committees.
Conduct effective group meetings (including staff and labour relations) and lead staff by example.
