**DESCRIPTION**
The Operations Analyst supports the freight brokerage operations by monitoring, analyzing, and managing detention-related data.
This role ensures timely resolution of detention charges, identifies trends, and helps optimize carrier and shipper performance to minimize delays and reduce operational costs.
**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**
**Detention Tracking & Documentation**:
- Check that all portals are updated in real time.
- Monitor load statuses to identify delays at shipper or receiver locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of arrival, loading/unloading, and departure times.
- Collaborate with carriers and customers to confirm detention time and validate charges.
**Data Analysis & Reporting**:
- Analyze detention trends and generate reports to identify frequent issues by lane, customer, or facility.
- Recommend improvements to reduce detention time and increase operational efficiency.
