Qualifications and Experience

:· Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent;· Indigenous Education, counselling training program diploma, or Diploma in Native Education Indigenous Studies; and· Experience working with Indigenous students in a counselling or support role.Assets:· The ability and willingness to provide recommendations in a timely manner, demonstrating good judgement, respect for organizational policies and procedures in addition to Saugeen First Nation values and inherent rights;· Genuine knowledge and understanding of the Seven Grandfather Teachings and the willingness to learn;· Familiarity with Saugeen First Nation history;· Excellent written and oral communication;· Organized and able to manage competing demands; and,· Experience mentoring or coaching students.Job Requirements:· Clean vulnerable sector police check· Valid driver's license· Access to a reliable vehicle· Eligible to work in CanadaApplication Process:Qualified ap...
