Fraser Health is looking for a Local Department Head for the OBGYN team at Langley Memorial Hospital. In this key position, you will participate in Site Operations and ensure effective communication with the regional department. You’ll work closely with the Regional Department Head to manage staff appointments and advocate for health and wellness. The role also includes overseeing quality reviews and addressing care complaints within the department.
Key Responsibilities: • Chair the Site Operations Committee for the hospital • Facilitate communication between regional departments and facility staff • Recommend appointments and renewals for medical staff • Promote workplace respect and wellness initiatives • Conduct morbidity and mortality reviews
