Overview

Drive system improvement and equity initiatives as an Equity Service Analyst with OACAS in Toronto. Focus on advancing SOGIE strategies for 2SLGBTQ+ youth in the child welfare sector. In this full time position, you will work under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Equity and Reconciliation. Your role involves translating research into actionable practices, supporting the implementation of strategies that ensure equitable outcomes. Engage with community partners and utilize data to inform policies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate applied research to address service gaps in welfare
• Create reports and tools with academic collaborators
• Develop implementation guides for sectors and stakeholders
• Chair community roundtables and plan engagement strategies
• Report findings through training sessions and digital repositories
• Contribute to meaningful change in child welfare policy and practice with OACAS
