Overview

Chateau St. Michael's is a 93 room personal care home located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, offering independent living and intermediate care suites. We are currently seeking qualified, caring and compassionate team players to provide medical care within the full scope of practice as outlined for Licensed Practical Nurses. We offer full-time and part-time shifts of 12.5 hours. Reporting to the Director of Care, LPNs will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide bedside care.
• Administer oral, injectable, inhalation, transdermal and topical medications as well as eye drops and ear drops, as prescribed, and accurately record in the MAR.
• Provide bowel and bladder care (e.g. suppositories, enemas, catheters, ostomy bags).
• Complete transfer / lift / repositioning and falls prevention assessments and post appropriate logos.
• Perform palliative and end-of-life care.
