Assess vaccination status and health status; offer indicated vaccines such as influenza, COVID‑19, pneumococcus, herpes zoster, or vaccines based on travel destination.
Offer services related to hypertension, diabetes, or anticoagulant therapy.
Provide instruction on using blood glucose and blood pressure devices.
Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner.
Work with the pharmacy team to develop the nursing service offering.
Qualifications
Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec – Québec immunization protocol) and travel health.
