Position Overview

Continuing Education Instructor – responsible for acting as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel, facilitating the learning process and evaluating learning outcomes, planning, coordinating, and evaluating unit-specific orientation programs in conjunction with the Nursing Director, participating in educational activities within the specific department, the patient care portfolio, and throughout the hospital, and performing other related duties as required or assigned.

Experience

• Minimum two (2) years recent surgical nursing experience required.
• Demonstrated ability in communicating with and teaching adults required.

Education

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Current CRNM registration required.
