Position Overview

The Registered Nurse functions as an independent self-directed professional in the delivery of direct patient focused care ensuring the patient is the centre of all planning and decision-making activities related to care delivery. The Registered Nurse works within the framework of the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics and the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.

Pensionable Salary Enhancement – Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full-time hours within a prescribed six‑month reporting period (Effective April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027).

Experience

• Two years recent PACU/ICU/Day Surgery experience is required.
• Pre-Assessment Clinic is preferred in the surgical specialties provided within the program.
• Adult and Pediatric experience is preferred.
