Job Title: Naval Systems Engineer – RF Communications

Contract Duration: 12 months with a possibility of extension or conversion to permanent

Work Location: North Vancouver, BC (On-site at the shipyard)

Work Hours: M-F 40 hours per week

Clearance Requirement: Reliability, Controlled Goods, and Trade clearance; however, Secret NATO clearance would eventually be required

Position Summary

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for Joint Support Ships, which are the replacement Vessels for HMCS PROTECTEUR and HMCS PRESERVER. The principal role of the JSS is to provide support to deployed naval forces in the form of fuel, ammunition, provisions and other materiel.
