Regulatory Compliance Requirements

Direct or indirect access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the Canadian Export Control List, the ITAR or the EAR.

Requires a positive Controlled Goods assessment and a Security Clearance at NATO Secret Level. Must be eligible to obtain authorization for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and obtain a Canadian NATO Secret clearance.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Act as the main Point of Contact (POC) for FER, ensuring all deficiencies reported by ship staff are valid and assigned appropriate repair priorities.
• Coordinate FER priorities and manage workflow between FER and Thales‑related activities.
• Be available on a rotational, 24/7 on‑call basis (unless formally delegated) to respond to urgent requests from FER, MEPM(NC) and FMF.
• Resolve day‑to‑day issues arising from FER on all ships.
