Salary: $20.85 per hour. Overtime pay at 1.5 times employee’s regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends.
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Education: Secondary School plus CPR or First Aid. Language: English.
Responsibilities
Supervise & care for children before and after school.
Plan, prepare and serve meals; light housekeeping; laundry; oversee children’s activities such as meals, play time, rest periods, as instructed by employer.
Get children ready for school, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; instruct children in personal hygiene; tend to the emotional well‑being of children and support social development.
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
