About This Opportunity

The Village of Miller Creek located in Ajax, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Contracted Music Therapist to join our team.

• Status: Part-Time
• Location: 1401 Harwood Ave N Ajax, ON L1T 4T9
• Expected Start Date: Fall 2026 


Hours: 65 hours / month


As a Music Therapist you will work as an independent contractor for Schlegel Villages you will support residents as needed and reflective of their care plans:

  • The Music Therapist will have a degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution and be eligible for Accreditation with The Canadian Association of Music Therapists. 

  • Plan, review and assessing therapy sessions to monitor effectiveness and to aid the planning of subsequent sessions.

  • Take an active role in sessions by playing, singing, and listening.
