The Role Based in Bermuda, the Modeling Actuary is a key member of the actuarial team reporting to the Chief Actuary. The role involves developing and maintaining actuarial models supporting the liability valuation and reserving process under the Bermuda EBS framework and US GAAP, and evaluating new reinsurance transactions.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of reports covering US GAAP, US tax, Bermuda Statutory Financial Statements, Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet, and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement.
Provide additional actuarial support for the Company’s Investment, Risk, and ALM functions.
Support the Company’s multi‑year financial planning process.
Ensure an accurate transition and smooth integration of pricing models into the Company’s corporate model framework.
Provide additional actuarial support as appropriate.
