Reports to: The Mining Development Manager in the Economic Development Department

Responsibilities:

• Support Inuit involvement in all sectors of the mining industry through research, analysis, and business planning.
• Research and facilitate development strategies and business plans for emerging opportunities in the mining sector.
• Collaborate with the Mining Development Manager and the Director of Business Development to identify and strategize contract opportunities.
• Monitor trends and developments within the mining industry to identify areas for Inuit participation and growth.
• Review and analyze existing contracts with operating mines in Nunavik to ensure optimal benefits for Inuit communities.
