Position Description:
Perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on various steel production and support equipment, including: Electric Arc Furnace Ladle Furnace Vacuum Degasser (VDG) Argon Oxygen Decarburizer (AOD) Billet caster Grinders and saws Annealing furnaces Diesel locomotives Overhead cranes
Install, maintain, and repair heavy industrial systems and components, such as bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, hoists, mobile equipment, fans, blowers, heat exchangers, and cooling towers.
