Role Overview

The Merchandiser – Retail will be responsible for inventory planning, stock allocation, sell-through tracking, and ensuring the right product availability across stores. The role requires strong analytical ability, coordination skills, and understanding of retail KPIs to support revenue and margin targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Planning & Allocation

• Plan and allocate stock to stores based on sales trends, store grading, and seasonality.
• Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
• Support replenishment planning for core and fast-moving SKUs.

2. Sell-Through & Performance Tracking

• Track daily/weekly sales performance, sell-through %, stock cover, and ageing inventory.
• Identify slow-moving products and recommend corrective actions (transfers, markdowns).
• Support monthly trade reviews with data insights.
