Supplying materials required for laboratory exercises
Procuring, preparing, pretesting and labeling specimens, reagents and slides
Assisting the continuing education department with lab set-up and requirements
Participating in biological and chemical safety by providing spill response & following Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) procedures and regulations
Perform phlebotomy as required
Work independently and as part of a team
Additional duties as required
Qualifications
3 years of related experience and certification with the Medical Laboratory Professionals' Association of Ontario (MLPAO) and/or College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) roster registration required
Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) preferred
