Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering discipline on major nuclear projects from concept through execution
• Act as the primary mechanical interface with OPG and key project stakeholders
• Oversee and review engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, equipment specifications, BOMs, piping layouts, stress analyses, and HVAC designs
• Ensure full compliance with Canadian nuclear codes and CNSC regulatory requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and designers
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery
• Review and approve vendor documentation and technical submittals
