Job Purpose:
The Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of material movement and stockroom activities along with providing leadership to the stockroom and material handling team.
Essential Functions:
Optimize material flow and delivery using MRP, planning, forecasting tools, and material pull system principles to support customer requirements.
Set safety stock levels and maintain accurate item master data (lead times, lot sizes), PFEP for new model launches, and effective materials planning policies (e.g., time fences).
Maintain accurate inventory control using min-max, cycle counting, quarterly inventory projections, and metrics such as inventory turns, delivery performance, and productivity against targets.
Serve as the ERP system facility “super user,” including report writing, data extraction, and training of users.
