The Mate is the head of deck department and is in command of vessel operations during the Master’s absence. This Mate is responsible for assigning the crew with specific roles with respect to the deck department responsibilities and monitoring that the work is carried out safely and efficiently. 

Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 7700 Hopcott Road, Delta
